A two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County has claimed the life of a four year old Elkhart Lake girl and critically injured a Kiel woman. Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says the victim has been identified as four year old Addison Nye. The driver, 19 year old Alix Cash from Kiel is in critical condition at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Olig says Cash failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of County Highway W and Calmar Road striking a pickup truck. Olig says this is the 9th traffic fatality on Fond du Lac County roads this year. The driver of the pickup, Robert Knaus, from Pipe and a passenger, his wife, were transported to St. Agnes Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
