A suspect has been arrested in connection with a hit and run incident in Waupun. Shortly before 6am Friday a Waupun Officer conducted a traffic stop on a suspect vehicle on Main/Shaler Dr. The 58 year old male suspect admitted to being involved in the incident that occurred yesterday at the intersection of Main/Moore. Police are continuing their investigation to determine what citations will be issued to the suspect. Deputy police chief Scott Louden says the suspect told police he got out of the car and asked if the woman was okay and left the scene when she said she was okay. But Louden says the man should have called police to report the incident. The woman escaped serious injury after she was struck by the vehicle while she was running in a crosswalk at Main and Moore Streets:
