The Polk County District Attorney has pleaded not guilty to OWI in Fond du Lac County. Daniel Steffen was arrested last month on Highway 23 east of Fond du lac. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says a sheriff’s deputy working an enforcement detail on Highway 23 initially pulled Steffen over for speeding. Steffen entered the written plea at an initial court appearance this week. He was not required to physically appear in court because it is a first offense:
