A Ripon College political science professor says it remains to be seen if the latest controversial comments by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump hurt him in the polls. Trump drew across the board criticism this week for his call to ban Muslims from entering the United States. Ripon College political science professor Marty Farrell says the concern is that Trump’s comments could embolden the terrorists. “This is exactly what the radical Islamic terrorists want. They want to turn it into a war against all of Islam,” Farrell told WFDL news. Farrell says while Trump may be on top of the polls…his negative ratings also remain very high.
