2-19-16 former fdl council member charged with forgery waives preliminary hearing

A former Fond du Lac city councilmember accused of writing a forged check has been bound over for trial.  James Nagle has waived his preliminary hearing on charges of forgery and uttering.  He is accused of writing a forged check at The Goldsmith jewelry store in Fond du lac.    Nagle is free on a $1,000 signature bond with orders to have no contact with The Goldsmith.  Nagle had taken out papers to run for city council this spring…but did not return the papers.
