Bail has been set at $250,000 cash for a Fond du Lac man arrested in connection with a series of home invasions. Lucas Leffel made his initial Fond du Lac court appearance Tuesday on seven counts of burglary and attempted second degree sexual assault. Police Chief Bill Lamb says Leffel has admitted to entering four homes in the southeast side of town while naked. Prosecutors say it was Leffel’s mother who turned him in after she found him in the front yard in his underwear early Saturday morning. Assistant District Attorney Dennis Krueger told the court that Leffel had been convicted of a similar crime when he lived in Michigan. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 21st.
