The Fond du Lac city council will be receiving regular updates from a Lakeside Park Exploratory Committee. Council president Sam Meyer says the 17 member committee will hold its organizational meeting before the end of the month. The committee is being asked to determine if Lakeside Park can be better utilized for the benefit of city residents, stakeholders and visitors, and if so, how? The committee may also consider other communities and parks, brainstorm ideas, explore how ideas could impact the community financially and evaluate how park development in other cities affected their communities.
