A Fond du Lac County jury has found a man guilty of his 7th OWI offense. Joseph Rogers was convicted of OWI 7th and operating after revocation and sentenced to three years and nine months in prison. His drivers license was revoked for three years, he was ordered to have an ignition interlock and ordered to pay more than $5000 in court costs. According to a criminal complaint Rogers blood alcohol concentration was .133 percent, or more than six times over the legal limit for a repeat drunken driver. Rogers told the officer he was traveling from the Brussels/Algoma area to Iowa and had stopped to have drinks at a bar in Appleton. He was stopped by a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputy on Highway 26 in the town of Rosendale in May of 2015 at approximately 1:35 am.
