The Fond du Lac police chief says the city of Fond du Lac’s overall crime rate is down. Chief Bill Lamb told the Fond du Lac city council last week that property and violent crime combined dropped three percent in the city last year. Lamb says the biggest area of concern is aggravated assaults, and he says most of those are domestic related. “Somewhere between 60 and 70 percent of those aggravated assault numbers are crimes that occur in our families or homes in the community,” Lamb told WFDL news.
