The director of a Wisconsin immigrants rights group says undocumented immigrants in the state should be concerned about being deported.  Christine Neumann-Ortiz of Voces de la Frontera says it shouldn’t come as a surprise that president Donald Trump is following through on his campaign promise.  “We fully anticipated he (Trump) would follow through with the rhetoric of his campaign,”  Ortiz told AM 1170 WFDL’s Between the Lines program.  “…and as we saw cabinet appointments being put in place that really go against the values they’re supposed to enforce, folks that have a history of ties to hate groups, so it is not surprising these executive orders were issued.”   Ortiz says the order to build a border wall is intended to promote prejudice.  She says thousands of undocumented immigrants in the Fond du Lac area and statewide make significant contributions to the economy and their community.  Meanwhile a group of Fond du lac residents is planning a protest starting at 4pm Tuesday at the corner of West Johnson and North Main Streets.
