9-30-17 welcome home ceremony for fdl firefighter

A welcome home ceremony is being held Monday for a Fond du Lac firefighter who is returning after his third tour of duty in the middle east.  Fond du Lac Fire Lieutenant, Shawn Kneeland.  Kneeland is a master sergeant in the Wisconsin Air National Guard.  Kneeland spent the last six months overseas.  He was previously deployed to Iraq in 2004 where he served as a firefighter on a heavy rescue truck, and was redeployed to Baghdad in 2010 where he assisted with teaching Iraqi firefighters.  A welcome home celebration will be held at 11am Monday at the South Main Street Fire station.
