FITCHBURG, Wis. (AP) — U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson isn’t saying whether Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell should remain in his post after repeatedly failing to repeal the Obama health care law. Asked during a question-and-answer session with real estate developers and homebuilders on Friday whether McConnell needs to go, Johnson responded that the GOP has a real problem with leadership. He says the people governing the country don’t know how to solve problems. He didn’t mention McConnell by name. Pressed by a reporter after the session, he said it was obvious Republican lack the leadership they need to pass health care changes. Asked point-blank whether he wants someone to replace McConnell, Johnson said he wouldn’t answer the question.
