Mayville’s former chief of police is due back in Dodge County court Thursday morning.
Christpoher MacNeill has a preliminary hearing set for 8:30 am, where a judge will decide if there is enough evidence to send the case to trial.
MacNeill is facing one felony county of misconduct in office and one misdemeanor count of obstructing an officer.
He is currently out on $1,000 signature bond and not allowed to have any contact with anyone named in the criminal complaint against him.
If convicted, he’s facing up to four and a half years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
