Fond du Lac police are still looking for a man who fired a gunshot into the air earlier this week. Police were called to a report of a man armed with a shotgun in the 500 block of South Main Street. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says when officers arrived the man dropped the gun, fled on foot and is still at large. Klein says police are not sure why the man had the gun or fired the gun into the air. Nobody was injured in the incident. Police are looking for a man they describe as a person of interest.
