10-18-17 dodge county traffic fatalities

The Dodge County Sheriff says he is tired of responding to fatal crashes involving vehicles blowing stop signs.  A Burnett woman was killed over the weekend in a collision at a county intersection.  “Stop signs are our killers this year and we’ve had 17 fatalities already and  we’re so hopeful that we’re done,”  Sheriff Dale Schmidt told WFDL news.  “This is taking its toll not only on the community but the deputies responding to these crashes.”    Schmidt says people need to pay attention,  slow down and stop  at stop signs at intersections.
