Four area high school athletes are among dozens of athletes that will be recognized at the upcoming Wisconsin High School Sports Awards show at Lambeau Field. The show will recognize standout athletes, coaches and teams from high schools in the Appleton, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Manitowoc, Marshfield, Oshkosh, Sheboygan, Stevens Point, Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids markets for their achievements during the 2017-18 school year. Area athletes that have been nominated include Fond du Lac Saint Mary’s Springs hockey players, Colin Ahern and Zach Welsch, Waupun High School basketball player Marcus Damask and Waupun High School’s Grace Lenz in gymnastics. Nominated winter athletes will be notified shortly by their coach or athletic director and given instruction on how to RSVP. Spring and premier award nominees will be announced soon. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be the featured guest.
