The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is joining hundreds of law enforcement agencies across the state for the annual Click It or Ticket safety belt enforcement campaign. Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says the mobilization starts this week and runs through June 2. Tadych says wearing a seatbelt is the single most effective way to protect yourself and prevent needless tragedies on the road. Last year in Wisconsin there were nearly 51,000 traffic convictions for failure to wear seat belts.
