7-18-19 heat advisory

Residents are advised to take precautions with a combination of dangerous hot  temperatures and high humidity over the next couple of days.  The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for much of southeast Wisconsin, including Fond du Lac and Dodge counties from noon Thursday through 11pm Friday.   National Weather Service meteorologist Ben Mueller says highs will reach the lower 90s Thursday with heat index values of 100 to 106 and highs in the mid to upper 90s Friday with heat index values as high as 110. Mueller says heat illnesses will be possible with prolonged outdoor exposure to the heat.  The elderly, children and those on certain medications are especially at risk.
