A Fond du lac judge has denied a request to lower bond for a Campbellsport martial arts instructor accused of sexually assaulting one of his students. At a bail bond hearing Monday Fond du Lac judge Peter Grimm denied a request by the attorney for 43 year old William Schellinger to lower his $100,000 cash bond to $10,000. At the request of the District attorney the judge also ordered that Schellinger have no contact with the alleged victim. Schellinger is charged with two counts of second degree sexual assault of a child and one count of repeated sexual assault of the same child. According to a criminal complaint Schellinger had sex with a 15 year old girl on multiple occasions in the back room at the martial arts studio.
