The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says a man found unresponsive in a field in the town of Eldorado has been identified as a 35 year old man from Oshkosh. Rescue personnel were called Thursday evening to an area on Nitschke Road after a person reported what he thought was a body in a field behind a residence. Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says the man was found with a pulse, but unresponsive in a hypothermic state and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. He says investigators are still trying to determine how he ended up in the field. Tadych says investigators are waiting for results of toxicology tests to determine if drugs and or alcohol may have been involved. He says there were no obvious signs of foul play.
