State health officials reported an uptick in the number of positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday after a two day dip in new cases. The state Department of Health Services there were 291 new cases, and an increase in the percent positive rate to 6.25 percent. In Fond du Lac County there are 11 new cases bringing the total number of positive cases locally to 120. There are 44 active cases in Fond du Lac County and 73 people have recovered. Four people are currently hospitalized in Fond du Lac County. Statewide, three more people died of COVID-19, bringing the total to 421.
