Fond du Lac High School seniors are graduating Friday night in a virtual graduation ceremony. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says the online ceremony starts at 7pm. The ceremony will be carried live on the District website, on Spectrum television channel 989, and will also be posted on social media. Dr. Sebert says he recorded his message to students at the administrative offices and admits it felt very odd to give a graduation speech on a computer. “You know there’s that great fear many have of public speaking but I can tell you that I would much rather give a graduation speech in front of thousands of people, a gym full of 500 kids that are excited for that next step in their life,” Sebert told WFDL news. Sebert says his message to graduating seniors this year is one of resiliency.
