Two people were seriously injured in a two vehicle accident in Dodge County. Shortly before 7pm Sunday rescue personnel were called to the scene near the intersection of State Highway 33 and County Highway AY in the town of Herman. One of the vehicles burst into flames and the fire was quickly extinguished. Two occupants received what were described as life-threatening injuries. Highway 33 was closed near the scene. Responding agencies include, Iron Ridge Fire Dept. and First Responders, Allenton Fire and EMS, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Mayville EMS, DCERT, Flight For Life, and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
