The executive director of the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin is strongly advising residents who have not returned their mailed absentee ballots to hand deliver them or vote in person. Following a U.S. Supreme Court ruling this week, League director Debra Cronmiller says you’re taking a risk that the ballot will arrive by election day if you put it in the mail. Cronmiller says the League was disappointed with the Supreme Court ruling refusing to extend the absentee ballot deadline up to six days after the election.
