The Waupun School District administrator says he’s glad to see that teachers are among the group next in line to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Wisconsin’s plan for the next phase of vaccinations covers essential workers, including teachers. Administrator Steve Hill says a District-wide survey found that about 65 percent of teachers plan to get the vaccine. While Hill says he would like to see that percentage to be higher, he thinks there are some teachers who are being cautious and ultimately will end up getting the vaccine. He says some Waupun teachers have already been vaccinated.
