A Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain says a tractor accident that seriously injured a toddler is a reminder about tractor safety and children. A two year old child was seriously injured after falling off and getting run over by the tractor. Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says it’s an unfortunate example of a tragic farm accident that doesn’t need to happen. “This goes for all parents, even if it’s just riding a lawn mower with your child on a riding lawn mower. Don’t do it,” Tadych told WFDL news. The 2-year-old child sustained facial fractures and a broken collar bone. She is expected to make a full recovery. The child was air-lifted to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
