Carpenter Street from Greenwood Street to Main Street
Schedule: April 2021 through June 2021
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 17 to May 21: Concrete contractor will continue with sidewalk and driveways.
Traffic Impacts: Carpenter Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to
move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.
Doty Street from Follett Street to Scott Street
Schedule: April 2021 through October 2021
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 17 to May 21: Alliant Energy’s contractor (InterCon) continues to relocate gas main and laterals. Sanitary Bypass work will begin at the intersection of Doty St and Sibley St with a temporary sanitary connection at W. Follett St.
Traffic Impacts: Doty Street will remain open to two-way traffic during off hours; however, the intersection of Sibley St and Doty St is closed for bypass pumping.
W. Cotton Street from Military Road to Macy Street
Schedule: April 2021 through October 2021
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 17 to May 21: Alliant Energy’s contractor (InterCon) will be relocating gas main and laterals. Mobilization of second pipe crew will begin at end of week.
Traffic Impacts: Cotton Street will remain open to two-way traffic.
Star Street from 6th Street to 8th Street
Schedule: April 2021 through October 2021
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 17 to May 21: The utility contractor will finish storm sewer installation.
Traffic Impacts: Star Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.
Garfield Street from Bank Street to Scott Street
Schedule: April 2021 through October 2021
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, extension of sanitary laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 17 to May 21: The grading contractor will be cutting road to subgrade and placing aggregate.
Traffic Impacts: Garfield Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to
move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.
Fox Ridge Business Park Phase 3
Schedule: April 2021 through October 2021
Description: The project includes construction of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, roadway, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 17 to May 21: The contractor continues earthwork operation and water main continues along the east leg of new Fox Ridge Drive.
Traffic Impacts: Fox Ridge drive and Spirit drive remain open to two-way traffic.
WIS 23 Expansion – Urban Section – WI DOT Northeast Region
Location/limits: WIS 23 and various intersecting local roads between US 151 and Seven Hills Road
Length: 5.59 miles
Schedule: April 19, 2021 to fall of 2022
Description of work: This work is part of the WIS 23 4-lane, on-alignment expansion project in Sheboygan and Fond du Lac counties.
May 17 to May 21: The contractor will begin paving the temporary westbound widening from CTH UU to STH 151. Crews will also continue work on the new connection between Irene Drive and Whispering Springs Drive, a new road
between County UU and Whispering Springs Drive, and a new road between County UU and Northway Drive. Several utility crews will be onsite to relocate their lines for the ongoing construction work.
Traffic impacts: Closures – CTH U (South), EB & WB outside Lane Closure USH 151 to Whispering Springs Blvd, WB shoulder closure Seven Hills to Whispering Springs
