The Fond du Lac County Health Department is this year’s Fond du lac School District Friend of Education Award winner. The award was presented at Monday night’s School board meeting to Public Health Officer Kim Mueller. Interim superintendent Sharon Simon says over the course of the past year the Health Department helped guide the district during the pandemic, meeting with school leaders on a weekly basis. Simon says the Health Department deserves special recognition for all their efforts to protect the safety of students, staff and families during one of the most challenging times in recent history.
