A Fond du Lac County sheriff’s captain says he believes improvements are necessary sooner rather than later at a dangerous Fond du Lac intsersection. The Fond du lac County Highway Committee has voted to send a letter to the state Department of Transportation requesting safety study for the Rolling Meadows Drive-Highway 23 intersection. Fond du lac County Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says that intersection is the scene of several accidents every year including 17 last year. Olig says one possible solution is a roundabout.
