An 18 year old Fond du Lac man was arrested following a high speed chase over the weekend. The chase started early Sunday morning when a sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a vehicle on Winnebago Drive at Prairie Road for a speeding violation. The chase continued south on Highway 151, where the vehicle ran over stop sticks, losing both driver side tires. The suspect turned east on Rienzi Road and was stopped by a sheriff’s squad when he attempted to turn south onto County Highway K. The driver exited the vehicle and was arrested following a short foot chase. Two Sheriff squad cars were damaged during the pursuit. There were no injuries.
