Continued efforts to reduce street flooding will be a major focus of next year’s Fond du lac Public Works budget. The Fond du Lac city council got a sneak peek of what the budget will look like at a meeting earlier this month. Public Works director Paul DeVries says the budget will propose hiring a consultant to address street flooding concerns, including rainfall capacity issues. DeVries says water and wastewater will also be addressed. Devries says the city Transit System is working on a Development Plan. DeVries says two major street reconstruction projects are planned for next year. One is on Military Road amd DeVries says Pioneer Road near Johnson Street will be another major project.
