Republican congressman Glenn Grothman says the United States should have done a better job of evacuating people before withdrawing American troops from Afghanistan. Grothman says there is no way everyone will be able to get out. “Nobody I talk to thinks we can get out,” Grothman told WFDL news. “…as a result I don’t see how you can leave because what’s going to happen if you don’t get people out given what the Taliban are like? Are they going to be killing people? Are they going to be holding Amerians hostage?” Grothman says he hopes the Biden administration has a contingency plan.
