WFDL news has learned that Fond du Lac police have arrested a person of interest in connection with the shooting death of a Fond du Lac man earlier this month. Twenty six year old Benzel Rose was found dead inside a home in the 300 block of Eighth Street October 17 with multiple gunshot wounds. Police chief Aaron Goldstein told WFDL news a Fond du lac man considered a person of interest has been taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. Goldstein says police have also executed several search warrants in connection with the investigation. Goldstein says at this time the homicide appears to be an isolated incident.
