With the first small taste of winter weather this past weekend, the Fond du Lac County Highway Commissioner is reminding motorists to drive safe and show snow plow operators respect and consideration on area roads. Fond du Lac County Highway commissioner Tom Janke says that first major snowfall of the season always seems to be the most challenging. Meanwhile, Janke says while the county has plenty of road salt for the winter season, the supply chain crisis is impacting the Highway Department in other areas. “…whether it’s plow blades to belts to standard equipment parts for trucks,” Janke told WFDL news.
