The local unemployment rate is up slightly in the latest reporting period. The February unemployment rate in Dodge County is three percent, up from 2.8 percent in January. In Fond du Lac County the jobless rate is up a tenth of a percent to 2.8 percent. The city of Fond du lac’s unemployment rate was unchanged at 2.5 percent. Across the state unemployment rates decreased or stayed the same in 12 of 35 cities over the month and increased in 70 of the state’s 72 counties.
