The CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Fond du Lac, Dan Hebel, has been selected for the 2021-22 Fond du Lac School Districts Friend of Education Award. The School District says Hebel has been instrumental in working with the school district to establish partnerships to provide after school programs. He also collaborated closely with the District throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, such as opening the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac to provide services to local youth on remote learning days. The Club provides a year-round supportive, caring and stable environment for local youth. The Fond du Lac School District partners with the Fond du Lac Education Association to select an individual or group each school year to recognize as a Friend of Education.
