Republican congressman Glenn Grothman says he thinks former president Donald Trump is losing support among Republicans and predicts Florida governor Ron DeSantis would defeat Trump if both decided to run. Grothman made the comments on AM 1170’s Between the Lines program as the FBI investigation continues following the discovery of top-secret government documents at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. “I talk to a lot of Republicans. Again and again I’m getting a lot of people who think president Trump did a good job but we’ve got to find somebody else to run in two years,” Grothman said. Grothman says president Biden won the 2020 election because “There were a lot of people who didn’t like Trump.”
